As we all know, there is a lot of waste on campus. For example, some students leave the lights on in the daytime, keep water running after washing and leave a lot of food uneaten on the table. Some students even throw away their exercise books with only a few pages written.
So it is high time that we had to deal with the problem. The reasons are as follows. In the first place, the bad habit of being wasteful will have a bad influence on our character. Secondly, it adds financial burden to our parents. Last but not least, it also exhausts the world’s very limited natural resources---water, electricity, and so on. Then how to reduce the waste?
In my opinion, it is everybody’s responsibility to fight against this phenomenon. We should start with ourselves and take the lead in saving energy and reducing waste.
