Dear Tom,
Thank you for your concern! But I regret to tell you that I was eliminated in the first part of the English Speaking Contest. The main reason is that I didn’t attach much importance to it and was not well prepared. Besides,when standing on the stage,I was so nervous that I made some mistakes.Though the judges thought highly of my skills of the speech,I had to face the fact. From this experience,I realized my shortcomings and learned some lessons.As the old saying goes,failure is the mother of success.If I have another chance,I’ll take it and try my best to succeed.
