The Thanksgiving Day in this year is on November 22nd and it is around the corner. How shall we welcome it? Who shall we give our thanks to? I’d like to share my idea with you.
First, we should clarify why we are expected to learn to be grateful. Being grateful has always been a good quality in China, which can inspire a sense of responsibility in us. And I always think if everyone is grateful to our society, it will be more harmonious. If everyone has got a grateful heart to our parents, teachers and friends, love and happiness will greet us everyday.
Gratitude is so important and necessary that we should take action right away. Gratitude doesn't necessarily consist in how much money we spend or how great our deeds should be. We can just start with small things — give our parents a warm hug or make them a cup of tea, design beautiful thank-you cards for our dear teachers and send thank-you emails to our friends etc.

So the search began for a person who would make such a sacrifice a young man. Two years went by. Then, “You’re going to the hospital, son. Mother and I have someone who will donate the ears you need.
