Do you want to collect stamps? Getting started on a new stamp collection can be fun. There are a number of ways to start getting stamps.
First be sure to ask your family and friends to save the stamps they get. They can just save the whole envelope (信封) for you or they can cut out the stamp part for you. Be sure to have them cut all the way around the stamp so they don't bend or cut the stamp. Also, ask them if they have any old letters in the envelopes. These can be some of the most interesting stamps you’ll come across.
You can also jump start your collection by buying stamps. You can also get a catalogue of stamps. By looking through the catalogue, you can start to see what kinds of stamps you like and would like to collect. Your tastes may change over time, but some people like to collect stamps from some countries or animal stamps, famous people stamps, etc. One of the cool things about stamps is that there are so many types and ways to collect them. You can find your own favorites and collect those.
Next you will need a place to keep your stamps. Stock Books (郵票簿) hold stock sheets. Each stock sheet has a plastic cover. It holds the stamp in place. You can see the stamps, and move them around easily. Stamp Albums (集郵冊) are usually preprinted (預(yù)印) . So you put the stamp on its preprinted area. There is often information about the stamp on the page.

China is a nation of etiquette (禮儀) .Chinese people are among the most hospitable people in the world. If foreigners visit a Chinese family, they would be surprised at the warmth that they would receive as guests.
When you visit a Chinese family, the host usually makes tea for you. Then he will serve you snacks (小吃) like biscuits or candy. Someone in the family will also chat with you, never letting you feel lonely.
At the same time, other family members will prepare a meal for you. Chinese people treat (款待) their guests with a big meal. They always present more food than the guest can eat.
