——Did Jack come back early last night?

——Yes. It was not yet eight o’clock _______ he arrived home.

A. before B. when C. that D. until

B

【解析】

試題分析:句意:--杰克昨晚回來早嗎?---是的,當(dāng)他回來時 時間還不到八點。這里用when引導(dǎo)時間狀語從句,it指時間,注意這句話不是強調(diào)句型 如果是強調(diào)句型  時間前應(yīng)加介詞atIt was at 8 o’clock that he arrived)故C 錯。如果用before  必須是時間段 如 It was eight hours before  he arrived八小時后他到了。也不是not until 句型 該句型一般強調(diào)主語的動作 如 He didn't arrive until eight! 他直到八點才到!選B。

考點:考查狀語從句
