Part I
(A) Hello, everyone! My name is Lucy. I am feeling a little bit ill today, but this won’t stop me from writing a short blog post about my second book and my favourite hobby. I don't know if you have ever heard but I write books,or I am more exact,I write short stories for kids. At the moment,it is just an innocent hobby. I like writing short stories ever since I have learnt my first words. At the beginning they were only very short with 3 or 4 sentences. But I am getting older now so I can sit longer behind my mom's computer and my very short stories are getting longer.
My second book is called Morris and Henry: Is the moon really made out of cheese^ It is a short story about a giraffe called Morris and a tortoise called Henry. They have a friend called Priscilla, who is a flying unicorn (獨角獸) .They have a fantastic adventure—to find out if the moon is really made out of cheese. Along the way they have many technical (技術(shù)的) problems. They land on new mysterious planets and make new friends.
It is hard to write a book, and it takes quite a lot of time. I always have plenty of ideas but it is not so easy to write long blocks of text. First I write a shorter version of the book. Later I read this short version again and again, and every time I add more sentences—up until I am completely happy. I hope you enjoy finding out some of my secrets behind book writing.
