　　Not only farmers but scientists have studied weather forecastiong (預(yù)報). People, for many centuries and in all countries, have studied the weather and tried to make weather forecasts. Sometimes distant objects such as hills and tall trees seem to be very clear and near, This is a sign of much water - vapour in the air, and therefore a rain will probably come.

　　In the 1940s, Pinehaven Park was one of Crafton City's loveliest recreation(娛樂)areas. Over 40 acres of woods and fields were open to the public.
