Jack Johnson is a singer and song writer known for his smooth voice and calming songs. His most recent album(專輯)is Sleep Through the Static. It is filled with personal songs about love, family and life. And this new album is also environmentally friendly.
Jack Johnson wrote the song Angel for his wife, Kim. When they met in college, Johnson was not a professional(專業(yè)的)musician. In fact, he used to be a professional surfer who rode ocean waves on a surfboard. Johnson has said that he started writing music and playing the guitar after a surfing accident. He later wrote several songs for a movie he made about surfing. In the song Go on Jack Johnson expresses what it is like to watch his two young sons grow up.
Jack Johnson may be a famous musician, but he does not like to lead a very public life. He likes to spend time with his family doing sports outdoors. Johnson is also very interested in environmental activities. Six years ago, he and his wife started the Kokua Hawaii Foundation to provide environmental education to school children. Jack Johnson’s new album shows another environmental effort. The whole album was made using energy power from the sun in his environmentally friendly recording studio (工作室).

Erica McElrath calls herself “ The Happy Lady”. And by now, you may have caught her singing and dancing with her mp3 player on any of several city street corners. “ I don’t want money,” said McElrah, 40, of St. Louis. “ I come out here to make people smile.”
McElrah lost her full-time job in January. Since then, she has spent her days doing what she loves-dancing in the street. McElrah’s mp3 player is loaded with hundreds of classic rock hits and 80’s pop songs, including those by Joe Cocker, Tina Turner, Neil Diamond and Toto. But her favorite artist, by far, is Stevie Nicks.
Videos of McElrah have appeared on YouTube, a video-sharing website on which users can upload, share, and view videos. “People think I’m crazy, but I don’t care,” She said. “ I can dance a little. I just go with the music.” Even a rude gesture from a passing motorist doesn’t bother her either. “ I just smile and wave,” she said.
McElrah’s show of bravery recently earned her a job opportunity with Liberty Tax Service, which temporarily offered her a job as a dancer Statute of Liberty to promote a new place near Grand Center starting in January.

China is the biggest market in the world, and many countries such as Germany, the USA, the UK and Russia do a lot of business in China. Let’s have a look at some important tips to help you be successful when dealing with these nationalities.
First, you must be punctual (準時的) with Germans. Even 5 minutes late makes a bad impression. Being punctual is also very important in the USA. In conversation, the British and the Americans value humour, and both like to talk about sport. The Germans, however, prefer to get straight down to business!
