Mainstream education in the Philippines has been around for more than a hundred years. The idea of sending your child to a 1 (convention) school has been so deeply fixed in our mind that schools are normally considered students' second homes, while teachers take 2 as parents inside the classroom.
By the time children start to walk and talk, parents start to look for the school of good reputation that will raise them best, and one they can afford at that.
But a new movement led 3 the Homeschooling Association of the Philippine Islands (HAPD is changing the landscape of education by advocating homeschooling in the Philippines. Established in 2009,HAPI is an4 ( organize) composed of homeschooling families,as well as various accredited schools who offer home school programs.
Its chairman Edric Mendoza 5 (clarify) ,"Home school is different from home study." Home study is schooling supervised by a teacher or a tutor who drops by a student's house.
"Home school,on the other hand,is a form of education 6 the parent is the teacher and the child is the student," Mendoza says to distinguish the 7 forms.
HAPI believes parents have the option and capacity to educate their children 8 (they) .
Mendoza adds, "The challenge for all of us is that the school system has been there for a while,so we think by default that it is not our job to do it for our kids. So you know 9 ,we need to dispel the idea, that we need a school to do the 10 (teach) for you."

Today I had an ordinary but meaningful birthday. In the beginning of the day,my parents had intended to give me anything as my birthday present. Great to my amazement, they presented a watch to me. I knew they want me to value time and possess a meaningful life. At the noon,I had a great lunch with some good friends of me in a restaurant. Later on,I enjoyed several things. They treated me to a comic movie, giving me a great deal of pleasures. Soon after the film,I made my best wish, blew out the candles, and cut the cake happily with my classmates.
When it comes to celebrate birthdays, gifts are not the most important things. What matters a lot to me is the beloved people spend this day together.

Many of our problems come from within our own minds. They are not caused by events, bad luck,or other people. We cause them through our own poor mental habits. 1 Stop jumping to conclusions. 2 First, they assume that they know what is going to happen,so they stop paying attention and act on their assumption instead. Human beings are lousy fortunetellers. 3 That makes the action wrong too. The second aspect of this habit is playing the mindreader and assuming you know why people do what they do or what they're thinking. Wrong again, big time. More relationships are destroyed by this particular kind of stupidity than by any other.
4 A huge proportion of those " oughts" and u shoulds" that you carry around are most likely needless. All they do for you is to make you feel nervous or guilty. What's the point? When you use these imaginary rules on yourself, you clog your mind with petty restrictions and childish orders. And when you try to impose them on others, you make yourself into a bully,a boring nag,or a selfrighteous bigot (頑固者) .
Don't hang on to the past. 5 The more you turn them over in your mind, the worse you'll feel and the bigger they'll look. Don't try to fight misery. Let go and move on. Do that and you've removed just about all its power to hurt you.
A. Making conclusion demands us paying much careful consideration.
B. Most of what they assume is wrong.
C. Maybe the past means a lot to you.
D. Here are 3 habits you should set aside right away to free yourself from the problems.
