Dear Mr. Smith, 　　I was so pleased to hear from you and am writing to tell you something about my village. Quite a few changes have taken place in my village, through which runs a small river with a stone bridge over it. There are new houses along the southern bank of the river. Beside the houses there is a playground where the villagers often play ball games after farm work. There is a new school which is to the south of the playground and a library to the east of the school. Also there are rice fields near the houses. A toy factory lies on the northern bank of the river. Beyond it is an orchard where all kinds of fruit are grown. 　　The villagers here are living a happy life.
