It is good / suitable for growing rice in the south as it is cool and wet in winter, hot and humid in summer. In the north, wheat is mainly grown in this area because it is cold and dry in winter, hot and rainy in summer. The western part of China, dry with less rain all the year round, is not good / suitable for growing crops, but in some places varieties of fruit are grown / produced. And the eastern part enjoys plenty of rain most of the year, so crops grow very well there.
