解析:

Possible version 1

I think highly of monthly elections. Firstly, everyone has the right to be a class leader. Some students appear lazy or silent just because they have no chance to show their abilities. Monthly elections provide equal chance for everyone in the class. In this way they can explore their self - confidence and potentialities, strengthen their sense of duty. Secondly, besides knowledge in books, I think, we should learn how to serve others, how to deal with things independently, which can't be learnt from books but from our own experience. Finally, one month is a short period time, so those who take posts will try their best to work for the class.

Possible version 2:

A student's task is to study. Those who have the ability to be a leader and is ready to serve the class should try their best to do it, but it is no need to encourage all to do the job. For those who are very shy, frequent elections will produce great pressure on them. I think everyone has his own way and his own idea to deal with things, so frequent elections will make students at a loss, which does no good to a class. On the other hand, frequent elections waste a lot of time and energy and sometimes even cause con-filcts between classmates. That's too bad. It is said that some students run for the position of class leader in a dirty way, which will ruin the whole class.

書(shū)面表達(dá)

閱讀下面的短文,然后按照要求寫(xiě)一篇 150詞左右的英語(yǔ)短文。

Today was the day I started my new summer holiday part-time job and I had a problem I woke up late because I had forgotten to set my alarm. Af-ter washing I got on my bike to ride the 8 km to the job only to see that the tire was flat. I scolded myself for not having checked it the night before. I should have done this as I hadn't used the bike for months. I hurried to get the pump but I found that it was broken. It was almost as if someone was try-ing to stop me from getting there.

Would I lose my job before I had even started? I tried to stay calm. I knew that worrying wouldn't help me find a solution. I needed to think clearly. I needed a plan. Then I remembered my neighbour Mike had a mo-torcycle. I ran to his front door and explained my problem. He happily agreed to take me there and I arrived on time!

When I got home I thought about what happened that morning. I realised that I was wrong to leave everything to the last minute and that the best solution to a problem is avoiding the problem in the first place.
