We all have our own ways of sharing our life experiences with others.
Photographers use cameras, artists use brushes, musicians use songs and writers use stories.
Spencer Johnson's story Who Moved My Cheese? shows changes exist in(存在于)our life.  Life changes and so we do. We must change ourselves to face the changing environment, or we will fail.
Just look at the cycle(循環(huán))of the seasons. Trees bud(發(fā)芽)in spring and in summer their leaves turn green. In autumn, their leaves start to fall onto the ground. When winter arrives, there are no leaves on trees. Next spring the cycle begins again. Since we know there are cycles in nature, we can prepare for them. We know it is colder in winter and hotter in summer, so we can dress properly.

Since we accept the cycles of nature,we should also accept the changes in our life.
We can prepare ourselves for changes by becoming more flexible(靈活的). We can regard the changes in our life as chances. As we keep changing ourselves, we can keep up with the changes in our life.

In Britain you may often hear "Drop in any time" or "Come to see me soon", but you can't really do that.  People just say those things to make you feel welcome.  It is better to telephone before visiting someone at home.  If you receive a written invitation to an event that says "RSVP", you should reply to let the person who sent the invitation know whether or not you plan to go.
You should never accept an invitation unless you really plan to go.  You may refuse by saying "Thank you for inviting me, but I will not be able to come. " If, after accepting, you are unable to go, be sure to tell those who are expecting you as soon as possible that you will not be there.  Although it is not necessarily expected that you give a gift to your host, it is considered polite to do so, especially if you have been invited for a meal.  Flowers, chocolate, or a small gift are all appropriate.  A thank-you note or telephone call after the visit is also considered polite and is an appropriate way to express your appreciation for the invitation.

Why are so many people so afraid to fail? Quite simply because no one tells us how to fail so that failure (失敗) becomes an experience that means growth. We forget that failure is part of the human condition and that every person has the right to fail.
Most parents work hard at preventing failure or protecting their children from the knowledge that they have failed. One way is to lower standards(標(biāo)準(zhǔn)). When a child finishes making a table, the mother describes it as “perfect” even though it doesn’t stand still. Another way is to blame (責(zé)怪) others. If John fails in science, his teacher is unfair or stupid.
There’s a problem with the two ways. It makes a child unprepared for life in the real world. The young need to learn that no one can be best at everything, no one can win all the time, and that it’s possible to enjoy a game even when you don’t win. A child who’s not invited to a birthday party, who doesn’t make the honour list on the baseball team, feels terrible, of course. But parents should not offer a quick consolations (安慰), prize or say, “It doesn’t matter.” Because it does. The young should be allowed to experience failure and be helped to come out of it.
Failure never gives people pleasure. It hurts both grown-ups and children. But it can be really good to your life when you learn to use it. You must learn to ask “Why did I fail?” Don’t blame anyone else. Ask yourself what you did wrong and how you can improve. If someone else can help, don’t be shy about asking them.
小題1:How do most parents prevent their children from failure?

A.It’s impossible to enjoy a game if he misses it.
B.He is the worst of all.
C.It’s natural not to win a game and no one can win all the time.
D.His teammates are not good enough.
小題3:The writer of this article thinks that if a child fails, parents should __________________.
A.give him a small prize
