Hong was born in 1982 in a poor family in Xihua County (縣) , Henan Province. When he was only 11,his father became badly ill and one day he came back with an unwanted baby 3 A year later,Hong's mother 4 home. Like every successful person, Lang went through years of hard and lonely practice before he became famous. Lang grew up in a Chinese family with a strict father and a kind mother. Lang said it was his true love of music and the piano that made him keep working. “I fell in love with the piano when I was watching Tom—the cat playing it in the cartoon of TOM AND JERRY. Today playing music on the piano is still the happiest thing in the world for me. ”

A little girl stood near a small church. She had to leave because it was too crowded. “I can't go to Sunday School”,she cried to the pastor (牧師) as he walked by. The pastor guessed the reason,and took her by the hand,took her inside and found a place for her in the Sunday School class. Church members made a large donation. Checks came from far and wide. Within five years the little girl's gift had increased to $ 250,000,a large sum for that time.
When you are in the city of Philadelphia,look up Temple Baptist Church,with 3,300 seats in it. Have a look,too,at a Sunday School building. It's so big that no child in the area will ever need to be left outside during Sunday School time.
