In the tenth grade,I volunteered to work at a vet's. I wanted to get experience for my future job. However,I learned something more important one Saturday.
The hospital was in a poor place of the city. One Saturday,a man and his young son walked in with a small cat in a box. There was something wrong with the cat’s left eye. At this time,an old woman walked up to them and told the man that she would pay for the cost. The man thanked her and the son got to keep a healthy cat.
I always thought it was the right thing to help out a person who was in trouble, but I only saw that on TV or in movies. What the woman did made me believe that these things did happen in real life.

We know that driving less reduces air pollution. But there's another way to help out: drive green cars.
Green here means new energy. The green cars either use less gas,or no gas at all. Some of them use electricity. So they produce less air pollution.
More and more people are willing to take them, because every kilometer they travel means a reduction in PM 2. 5 emissions. You have probably seen many in the street.
Many cities and regions will promote the use of green cars. If a person buys a new energy car,the government will give him or her some money back.
