Joe's New Shoes

Last Sunday was Joe's birthday. He got so many gifts,and he liked a pair of shoes.

The next day,Joe wore his new shoes to school. When Sue walked past him, she stepped (踩) on Joe's shoe. “Sue!You stepped on my new shoe!”Joe shouted angrily.

At lunchtime,Joe was hungry and ran to the dinning hall to get his favorite chicken.He didn't see the chilli sauce（辣椒醬）on the floor and stepped on it ."Argh!" Joe cried loudly.“ My shoe has chilli sauce on it now!” He was very upset.

After school,Joe walked home. Just then,a car ran past him and splashed water onto his shoes. His new shoes became very dirty and ugly. It wasn't really a very lucky day for Joe and his new shoes!
