Cell phones help us easily find people anywhere at any time. A cell phone can include many things, such as games, music and internet access. Today, 4.6 billion people around the world have cell phones, according to CBS news.

However, cell phones may cause cancer, according to the World Health Organization. In a 2010 study, people who used a cell phone for 10 years or more were more than two times as likely to get brain cancer, according to CNN.

These suggestions may help you reduce your risk of cancer:

1.Use a headset or speaker

Headsets give out much less radiation than phones. Some wireless headsets give out low-level radiation. However, you should take it off your ear when you’re not talking to anyone. Using your phone with a speaker will also make it safer.

2.Listen more, talk less

Your phone gives out radiation when you talk or text, but not when you’re listening or getting messages. Listening more and talking less can lower the risk of cancer.

3.Hold the phone away from your body

Hold the phone away from your body when you’re talking, not against your ear. Also, don’t keep it in your pocket.

4.Choose texting over talking

Phones emit less radiation to send texts than to carry a person’s voice. Texting also keeps radiation away from your head.

5.Poor signal? Stay off the phone

Fewer signal bars on your phone mean that the phone needs to give out more radiation to work. Make and take calls when your phone has a strong signal.

D.the more cell phones people have, the more likely they are to get brain cancer

In the middle of a really embarrassing moment, you might feel like you just want to disappear. Maybe you wish for a time machine that could send you back five minutes. Well, time machines are hard to come by in the real world, so finding a better way of getting through the humiliation(蒙羞的場(chǎng)面) is needed.

Sometimes, embarrassment is caused by how we act after we make an unwanted thing. If the thing is a small one, you can just pretend it didn't happen, and many people won’t notice. On the other hand, if you stop, or get red in the face after you've messed up, people will really notice, and it will be hard to let the moment pass by. Of course, some embarrassing moments are too big or obvious for this plan to work.

Sometimes when you meet or get caught in a really cringe-worthy(尷尬的) moment, it doesn't seem funny. Other people may laugh, but you just get red in the face and feel like curling up in a ball of shame. But there are some people who can laugh at their own mistakes. When they mess up, they laugh harder than their friends do! People like this don't stay embarrassed for long, because this can turn into another funny story. They might even make a joke about their mistake before anyone else gets the chance to.

You shouldn't pretend a laugh if you really feel angry or embarrassed, but changing your attitude or outlook might be worth trying. Remember that a thing that makes you embarrassed today will probably make you laugh tomorrow. So why not try to laugh today?
