      Puerto La Cruz is not a big city,but it is very special. This beautiful Venezuelan city on the coast of the Caribbean Sea is a city of beaches. You can go to more than fifteen wonderful beaches there. You can visit some by car and others by boat.

     One beach you shouldn’t miss is Vallecito Beach. There are a lot of palm trees,and you can see a mountain just behind the beach. You can climb the mountain and find another beach,or you can go swimming in the calm water. You can also rent a pedal boat and spend time in the water. It's relaxing. If you want to eat special food,there is a restaurant where you can buy delicious seafood;or if you prefer,you can cook your barbecue there. It is allowed!

     One of the most famous tourist areas in Puerto La Cruz is El Paseo Colon. You can hang out there and walk along the beach. There is a nice Italian ice cream place called Gelateria Torino.      A planet called Kepler 22b was discovered!It is supposed to be an ideal home for future human. It has both land and water and has temperatures which average around 72 degrees. It also has the right atmosphere to support life. But it is 600 light years from the Earth.
