Koalas come from Australia. They have thick,grey or brown fur on their backs. The fur on the stomach is white. A koala has a large nose and round ears. Koalas don't have tails. Koalas are between 7 and 14 kilograms heavy and between 64 to 76 centimeters long.

   Koalas spend nearly all their time living in the trees. They sleep most of the day,and get up to eat leaves at night. Koalas don't often drink water. When a baby is born,it is about 2cm long. The mother carries her baby in the pouch for about 6 months. The baby eats its mother's milk in the pouch. Between 22 and 30 weeks,it begins to eat food.
