      The clock rang and it woke Joe up. He turned on the light and had a look at it. It was five. He looked out of the window. It was dark outside. But he hoped to get to the next place of interest by lunchtime. He got up at once. After a quick breakfast,the young man started. There was little traffic on the road and he drove quite fast.

      The sun rose in the east and it got hotter. Now the young man was driving through a bigger town. Most people hurried to work and there were a lot of cars and buses in the street.He had to drive slowly. And after he came out of the town,he began to quicken. At that moment

An old woman in the house told him in and gave him a bowl of soup. A little dog went up to him and looked at him carefully.

      “I've never seen a dog so friendly like yours,madam ,” said Joe.

      “Ah ,” the old woman said ,“he's not that friendly. That's his bowl you are using."
