     Do you hear of the city of Shenzhen? It is in the south of China. Many people are very in terested in it. It is not very
big, but it has attracted(吸引) people all over the country and the whole world.
     I have been there many times. Just about twenty years ago, it was 'only a small village. There were not many people
there. Most of them were fishermen. Because of the open policy(開放政策), it has become the first special economic
zone (經(jīng)濟(jì)特區(qū)) in China. It  is a very good example to many other cities in our country.

     Do you know why different animals or pests(昆蟲) have their colors? They have the colors mainly to protect
themselves.
     Some birds like eating locusts（蝗蟲）,but birds cannot easily catch them. Why? It is because locusts change
their colors together with the change of the colors of crops(莊稼).When crops are green, locusts look green. But
as the harvest（收獲）time comes, locusts change to the same brown color as crops have.Some pests with different

       Do you know about the flu? The flu germs usually spread quickly. In winter, lots of people may get
the flu. If you do get sick, do you know what to do? Here are some tips.
       Drink lots of water. Water is good for your body especially (尤其) when you get the flu.
       Get plenty of sleep and take it easy. If you can't sleep, you can listen to music, watch a movie or read a book to relax yourself.
