Look at the cat on the left. Find anything strange?
In 1961, a man found a strange cat on his farm in Scotland. The cat’s ears were folded(折著的), bent(彎曲)forward, on its head. In fact, this was a new kind of cat. People named it the “Scottish Fold”.
The Scottish Fold has a round head and big eyes. Its neck and legs are short. They make it look very lovely. Interestingly(有趣地), all the Scottish Folds are born with straight and unfolded ears. And when they are growing up day by day, some cats’ ears will begin to fold. So, the Scottish Fold comes in two types: folded ears and straight ears.
There is a nickname(昵稱)for the Scottish Fold. It is the “Messenger(信使)of Peace”. Why? Because the Folds are sweet and friendly animals. They can get along well with other cats. And unlike some other cats, they can even get along well with dogs! In many different places, for example, at a noisy house or in a cat show, you can see them playing with other animals happily.
Well, when you come to a new school, do you think it’s difficult to feel comfortable in the new place? Perhaps you can learn from the Scottish Fold, which is always sweet and friendly to others.

4.What does get along well mean in Chinese?

Almost every day, we discuss the topic of health, especially for kids. But what is health? “Health” means eating well, getting enough exercise, and having a healthy weight. Let’s read the following rules. They can help you stay healthy.
Eat a variety of food, especially fruit and vegetables. We all know that eating fruit and vegetables can help us stay healthy, but many of us only eat our favorite food. Remember that we can only get the nutrition (營養(yǎng)) we need by eating different kinds of food, especially fruit and vegetables.
Drink water and milk most often. Everyone knows that water is important. Besides that, kids need plenty of calcium (鈣) to grow strong bones, and milk is rich in it. Every day, you should drink at least three cups of milk, when you are 9 years old or older. You should also try to have less sugary drinks, like soda and coca. They include a lot of sugar. Sugar only includes calories (熱量), not important nutrition.
Listen to your body. When you are eating, notice how your body feels. When your stomach feels comfortably full, stop eating. Eating too much makes you feel uncomfortable. If you do it too often, it can make you unhealthy and fat.
Limit screen time. What’s screen time? It’s the amount of time you spend watching TV, movies and playing computer games. The more time you spend on the sitting, the less time you spend playing sports, like basketball, and doing other activities like riding and swimming. Try to spend no more than 2 hours a day on screen time.

A crow(烏鴉) is about twenty inches(英寸) long and black all over. Crows are dirty birds because they live on bad food. Crows eat a lot of waste food. In this way they are more useful to us than any birds. They clean up the dirty things in our streets. Crows are always hungry. They look for food all day, and in the evening you can see them in large numbers flying back to their nests(巢) in the trees. They sleep there at night.
Crows are much noisier than other birds. Very often a large number of crows will get together on one house and talk. Sometimes they talk together, and sometimes they do it by turns(輪流) like human beings(人類). It is easy to tell(判斷) from crow’s sound if they are pleased or angry.
