   People in Scotland are open and straightforward (直 爽的) .They are known for their whiskey. It is often called‘‘Scotch”，and is exported (出口) to many countries around the world,such as the US,Mexico and India.

   With many strong fields,Scottish people feel proud of their country. If you come across a Scot,he is likely to describe himself as Scottish,rather than British. Pride in nation traditions keeps them strong. Among many Scotland traditions,there is one that has spread around the UK and into other English-speaking countries. On New Year^ Eve,people enjoy singing Auld Lang Syne,which is a Scottish poem written by Robert Burns in 1788. Auld Lang Syne is Scottish for ^good old times^. People sing it to show their appreciation for the old year and welcome the new year.
